National Museum of the Pacific event "Pride in the Pacific"

  • National Museum of the Pacific 311 East Austin Street Fredericksburg, TX, 78624 United States (map)

Just a short ride to Fredericksburg can offer so much history.

On four Saturdays a year, the Pacific Combat Zone comes alive with the sights and sounds of combat. Visitors will have an excellent vantage point as American troops storm the beach from their landing craft and fight their way across the fortified Japanese positions. These performances are not for the faint of heart as they include blank firing weapons, explosives, and a demonstration of our M2-2 flamethrower!
