By creating opportunities for fellowship and engagement, the Social Committee aims to celebrate the shared experiences of veterans, honor their service, and build a strong, supportive network. The committee also seeks to bring joy and fun to its members, strengthening the bonds that tie the organization together.

  • Marci Diana, Community Service Chair

    This initiative is committed to supporting and empowering veterans within the organization and beyond. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the organization's website to ensure accessibility and relevance, actively promoting the Memorabilia Store to honor and celebrate veterans' legacy, and reaching out to assist members of the Veteran Organization Community. By fostering engagement and providing essential services, this initiative aims to strengthen the bond among veterans and enrich their lives.

    The Veterans Outreach Committee focuses on honoring and supporting veterans through meaningful initiatives and events. Key efforts include coordinating participation in Wreaths Across America (WAA) to remember and pay tribute to fallen heroes, organizing charity events and drives to provide support to veterans and their families, and promoting VOVET events through local media channels to foster community awareness and engagement. This committee plays a vital role in extending the organization's mission and strengthening connections with the veteran community.

  • Mike Mikell, Commemorative Stone Committee Chair

    The Commemorative Stone Committee is responsible for honoring and preserving memories through meaningful ceremonies and commemorative efforts. Key duties include scheduling ceremony dates throughout the year to mark significant occasions, preparing stones for placement at the park, and coordinating the procurement of engraved stones from the engraver. This committee ensures that every detail is handled with care, creating lasting tributes that reflect the values and legacy of the organization.
